Re: Voyager legacy operating systems. Old CPU board.

I'm pretty sure the os revisions that ummagumma linked to work on all Voyagers.

Re: Moogerfooger Power Supplies, Expression Pedals

Hi Nick. I think Moog music as well as some retailers sometimes have offered a free expression pedal for the purchase of some Moogerfoogers. To my knowledge, no MoogerFooger was systematically sold with the expression pedal. Hope this helps. That's right Stiiiiiiive. There were a few promotions but...

Re: Moogerfooger Power Supplies, Expression Pedals

I had thought the lack of a power supply would be *extremely* disadvantageous to a successful sale. At the same time, however, I don’t want to sell at fire sale prices. I have found what may be suitable adapters for less than $20. If I can sell the item for an additional $100 wouldn’t it be worth i...

Re: Moogerfooger Power Supplies, Expression Pedals

I don't think any of them came with an expression pedal. They need power supplies with centre positive polarity. I'm pretty sure the voltage and ma ratings are in the manuals. If you no longer have the manuals you can download them from Moogs website. If you do Google searches for mf101 power supply...

Re: Noob question

Normally when you tweak something the value jumps from the stored value to whatever position the knob/slider is at. With takeover mode ( sometimes called pass through mode) the value won't change untill you pass through the stored value resulting in a smoother change. In panel mode you no longer hea...

Re: Trouble using Roland JX-08 as MIDI controller

Do you have another synth to try with the jx/k25m ? Either that or try hooking it up to a midi monitor ( like midiox)to see what its sending.

Re: Trouble using Roland JX-08 as MIDI controller

Have you set the Sirin to receive on the same MIDI channel that the keyboard is transmitting ?

For devices that only have USB power you can plug them into a usb power adapter when you don't want power them from a computer.

Re: Kenton CV-MIDI converter + MF102?

The Oscillator is always on. There is no gate to open or close.
You can send it cv to control it's pitch/frequency.
To gate it you'd need to run it through a vca controlled by an envelope or use cv to automate the mix knob. Or you could manually hit the bypass switch.

Re: new voyager user

When my Voyager came back from being serviced Osc 2&3 were off by -3 on the display and filter spacing off by -1.
Instead of sending it back or recalibrating it myself I just changed the tune and filter spacing values on the patches I wanted to keep and resaved them.

Re: VX-351 expander

That is a good question: is any functionality of the RME lacking compared to a regular voyager, other than the physical touchpad? It has the same features except for the hardware. From the manual: Vx351 TOUCH This group of outputs is generated from the Voyager keyboard’s Touch Surface Controller. T...

Re: Has production of Moog synths come to a halt?

I think we customers can expect more synths from the future. The article you linked states production has moved to Asia.
Shops are saying there will be more Matriarchs in around 3 months.

Re: VX-351 expander

I don't think you can program midi Cc's and convert them to cv but you can send what ever the touch pad inputs on the vx352 are doing.

Re: new voyager user

Aye, bank g is supposed to be a duplicate. If you want to make sure you have all the presets you can download them from post number 3 here https://gearspace.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-and-electronic-music-production/1154053-moog-voyager-3-0-presets.html. It's pretty common with analogue ...
