Re: Model D Reissue Oscillator Mod Switch Changes Pitch
First of all: congratulations to a one of the greatest synths ever made! When I asked the same question to Moog as I had the same issue they replied it’s in the original construction and they chose to keep it as the original. So it’s nothing wrong, just as the original. It can not be calibrated to ...

Re: Great improvement/companion to the Minimoog
With the Model D I use 1. Delay: Eventide H8000-FW or Moog MF-104z 2. Reverb: Eventide H8000-FW 3. EQ: Manley Massive Passive 4. Compressor: Well... I'd love to get a compressor just to tame the behavior of the filter particularly during tracking.. from when the resonance is set to something like 4-...

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?
I have sent them many emails asking for a customization and willing to pay for it, only to be met, each and every time with the same cliche reply... That they wanted to keep the design as close to the original as possible (as if all the additions they have made have anything to do with original mode...

Re: Model D Reissue mod whell Vibrato
i got the same issue with the strenght of the modulation weehl and i have installed the muse interface which has the ability to reduce the modulation amount . it´s great now to play with less modulation control . Does it reduce the modulation amount for both oscillators and filters, or just the osc...

Re: Model D Reissue mod whell Vibrato
The amount of modulation from the Mod Wheel to the VCOs is quite a lot, thus making it quite difficult to control the vibrato. 1. The Oscillator Modulation switch should be set to ON 2. The LFO shape should be triangle 3. Set the frequency of the LFO to something like 3 4. The switch under the knob ...

Model D reissue modifications
So, do you think we will see modifications like PWM and sync on the new Model D?

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?
Well, I didn't want to argue with them since they said they won't do it but on the other hand the re-issue is not as close as possible to the original given the fact that it has MIDI, the extra inputs/outputs, the extra LFO and some other things here and there. Plus if the type of wood is different ...

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?
Thanks for the head up - I don't know how to dismantle a Minimoog and rebuild it using the new wood. It's really a shame that they don't offer new types of wood or other stains from the get go. Here's what they told me after I made a second desperate attempt: Thank you for your email Ioannis, The Mo...

Fine Tune
Page 19 of the Voyager Manual:
FINE TUNE:
Fine tune control can be used to tune the Voyager's oscillators + or - 2 semitones for matching an external reference pitch.
Where is this control?

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?
Well yes it seems possible but when I asked them about a different wood, they said they won't do it. I have pasted their response in this topic.

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?
These look awesome but Moog doesn't offer any wood choices (not even at an additional cost).

Re: Wobbly switches in the Model D reissue
I posted that video because someone asked to see what the switches were like. They are absolutely fine as I said in the thread on gearslutz. Yes they move side to side a bit but they feel very positive and well made. It isn't an "issue" at all... That was me. I find the wiggling annoying ...

Wobbly switches in the Model D reissue
Check out this video a guy posted in GS:

I think it's rather unacceptable for a product this expensive to have these kind of issues.
