Hey mee3d, nice OSCar. I always thought that was one of the coolest looking synths. Never been near one, though.

Believe it or not, I've been pining after a Solina String Ensemble for a while now. I know, I'm weird...

Ha! That would be cool, if not nauseating. That would be a hardware issue, though.

How about a Moog Voyager RE (Rainbow Edition). Mod Dest controls the rate it cycles through backlight colors...

The one I played was definitely not "OK". It was unplayable was any sort of serious playing. From what's been said here, it is obvious that they are not all like the one I played. But I would be VERY careful about buying one sight unseen.

I played a Pro One once. It sounded awsome, but the keyboard rendered this particular one unplayable. It was BAD, worse than I though it would be. I mean, it was like trying to play a rusty typewriter. I don't think they are all like that, though. I think there is a fix, too.

The person selling must have no idea what it is. They say it is an "early model" from 1980, but the Prodigy began production in 1976. 4 years after production began is hardly an early model. Also, what kind of dust cover doesn't cover the knobs, switches or keys? Anyway, I would stay away ...

I think the picture is inverted. Look at the text on the manual.

I have no idea why it is orange, though.

Whoever they are, they just got scammed. The auction is obviously fake. Anything over $1000 seems fair game for scammers these days.

All the synth sounds on my songs are the Moog Voyager. Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/oysterrock

If it is not Rhodes, Clavinet, bass guitar or drums, then it is the Voyager.
