They're the same thing, just different spellings.

On my TE the track mode doesn't drift the lights to the knob. Say your light is higher than your knob pointer, if you move your knob higher, the light immediately moves higher ahead of the knob until it reaches the top. The only problem with this mode is say you wanted the parameter to go down. You ...

Whenever you save a patch, press store, move the data knob to the patch number you want to store it to, then confirm your save. It will then be saved to that patch number.

Obviously the word "Just" wasn't very well thought out. Thanks, theglyph, for stepping in. I would have hated to give advice that seriously damaged someone's precious Moog. Hopefully Array hasn't done anything yet.

Too bad you can't do windmills on a keyboard. At least not and look cool about it.

Cool shreds. I liked the resonance burbling in there.

It looks as though the washer isn't perfectly centered. Other than that, I'm not sure what's wrong with it. When you plug a line into it, is it straight, or skewed diagonally?

Yes, they have a Bulk Dump Single Preset function. Just download the Manual from the Moog website to tell you how to get there. I would suggest being careful to only Bulk Dump preset data and not global data, as the TE and SE have slightly different operating systems. I'm not quite sure what would h...

I doubt you could have a fine tune with RAC, because undoubtedly it would need a new connection that would have the correct resistance to the CV for using the pot as a fine tuner. I'm sure they could do a fine tuner with Midi data though.

I know just what you mean . I've tried mixing through headphones and it never works. Something that sounded fine is suddenly blaring. Something that seemed right out in front is suddenly inaudible. Gotta mix with speakers.

A lot of people now let MIDI play all the notes, while they use both hands to change the sound. Well, this might be true, but I hope you will not start to design your synths for these people only. The great thing about a Moog synthesizer is that you can play it as an expressive instrument: one hand...

Thanks for the info on the inner workings. Moog not only pioneered modular analog synthesis, now they have once again invented a completely new advance. Direct analog control, and a digital follower for saving patches. I knew there was a reason I really wanted at least one Moog synth. It is because ...

A lot of people now let MIDI play all the notes, while they use both hands to change the sound. Hehe, guilty as charged. For someone very determined to be all analog with his synth, I'm letting a digital sequencer play all the notes for me. Yes I'm more of a tweaker than a keyboardist, but I'm a ve...

There's not possibility of stepping if you have direct analog control. As the Sound on Sound article tested, if you move more than one knob at the same time on the Voyager, you'll get stepping. This can be very audilble if one of your parameters is this Filter Cutoff. You'll hear it change step by s...
