I think few diehard Moogers would not appreciate the work you have done with vintage synths. The more techs we have, the better. Thus, your problem is ours also. Would you consider getting an assistant? Or training a protégé? This was going to be my suggestion, although, training employees is alway...

Kevin, I agree with Carbon. Tell us about the issues that you mention. It is always good to understand more about our instruments, or in the case of the Mini D, our babies. I would love to have you go over my Mini, but I know that you are too busy for this to ever happen. Not sure that I would trust...

Congrats on the Mini. There really is nothing else like them, is there? You have to own one to truly understand that. As nice as the LP is, the Mini is even more. Add some reverb or delay and you are in analog heaven. Yours looks exactly like mine. It has that lighter finish, rather than the dark st...

I think what makes the most sense if for Moog sell an expansion unit for the phatty since it would cost a lot less per voice than the voyager. If they could make say a 4 voice rack for $1000 it would be a big hit since you could get into the phatty for $1200 and then when you're hooked (like me) yo...

The polymoog tanked Moog originally. The Chroma helped sink Arp. The A6 put the nails in Alesis' coffin. Kevin, Very good points, but maybe some other factors had something to do with the problems, rather than the fact that the companies were developing polysynths?? You are in a better position and...

The new Prophet is one good looking keyboard. However, so is the Poly Evolver, and I just could not connect with that instrument. I ended up with an Andromeda. I still can't really connect with that one either, though. Maybe the new P8 is the one for me. I just can't seem to get the hang of the Andr...

I agree, that video is amazing. Please note that looking at that guys video and figuring that you can do what he does with a sequencer is like purchasing a Minimoog and figuring that you can now do what Rick Wakeman does. The guy that did that video goes by the name of Morphius, and he is a well kn...

Anxiously awaiting responses..... I have thought about a dotcom sequencer for use with my Moogs for a long time. No reason that it wouldn't work. I have played around with a dotcom a bit, and know lots of people (via internet) who have them. Some synth guys don't like the fact that they are modeled ...

Michael, I agree with you completely. While I don't think that Moog should charge for OS updates until all of the bugs are removed (and they don't), I don't feel that they owe us free software and updates for the rest of our lives. So far since I have owned my LP Tribute, I have received two softwar...

I have never tried to make a string sound on the LP because I have so many other synths that do this so well.... However, if this is any help: Years ago with my ARP Odyssey, the standard string patch used to be made using a pulse wave on both oscillators, slightly detuned for fatness, and using puls...

This is VERY nice, and exemplifies one of my earlier statements on another thread about the talent that is displayed on this forum. Great programming, and great use of each instrument. One question----It appears that you have a Stage with wood ends, or a Tribute with Orange lights...... What is up w...
