Well, well for my BSc thesis I have applied Evolutionary Algorithms to electronic music composition. Maybe, I should make a ver. 2.0 of EvoMusic and give it as shareware. You can do a lot of fun and very interesting stuff with Evolutionary algorithms. For instance, you could make a initializa...

Hi,

This is all good but...
have you people ever listen to lyrics that contain the word Minimoog??? LOL Here's one from Gazebo (from the LP Gazebo, 1983). The track is called "Love In Your Eyes". And my... what a beautiful 80's disco it is. And the lyrics go: ... a minimoog it's just all you need so bad... :D Obvious...

Sweeping vocals
To create vocals sounds you need multiple band pass filtering. Cutoff frequencies should be set at the formant frequencies and filters should be configured in parallel. Formants are high-energy regions of the spectrum and they are responsible for the character of many sounds, including the human voi...

Such a lovely instrument
It's sad to see so much a minimum traffic in this forum. Someone, 80 years ago or so was creating history with Theremins. Now it's almost abandoned and look... even Moog stopped producing the Ethervox. I have been tempted to learn Theremin because of its uniqueness... but I want the real deal....

Hey, To do vocal sounds you need to know the formant frequencies (do a web search or email privately and I will search my books). Formants are regions of high energy concetration within the frequency spectrum. Generally speaking, you need to have several bandpass filters adjusted to the formant freq...

Hi people, I would agree with MoogBeam... I think that the whole thing is coming full circle again. We might even see modulars... Which is definitely very cool... 8) The Voyager is way too expensive in Greece. I am looking at prices all over the net and I envy you people :x I think I will order one ...

Memorymoog Part II
Hi, someone from MM told me that they are considering many options for new synthesizers... 8) I don't really think that a new Memorymoog would cost $24.000 as one user suggested. And if it did, I wouldn't buy it. I can spend my money on a far more powerful synthesizer. :) $4500 would be a more reaso...

Memorymoog Voyager
Hi people,
I am new to the list. I don't own a Moog yet but plan to do so very soon. I do consider another synthesizer as well far more powerful but now that I come to think of it... do you think Bob can make us a Memorymoog for the 21st century? Yum...!
