Re: Double Ringmod anyone?

Back when I had a sort of 'fooger-monster I had 2 ringmods 2 cp251s and one of every other fooger. I really enjoyed having the 2nd second ring mod around for modulation duties, as well as just being able to introduce such a large range of new timbres. the 102 is easily the most modular friendly of t...

Re: SP Questions about midi automation in Ableton

Automating the CC data would give you basically what you get with automating plug-in, yes. I'm not sure what you mean by reinitializing... you still have to save your patches if you want them to be there later. Albeit, with CC data alone you could probably automate an approximate version of your pat...

Re: SP - dead USB port

As I mentioned in the original post, no computer even recognises the SP is even connected at all, so it doesn't even show up as a MIDI source/destination to choose from in any DAW Have you tried a restore factory settings on it? I had a pseudo OS corruption occur after some MIDI loop madness that w...

Just a guess, made sure that USB is receiving MIDI IN on the MIDI Setup page?

Re: Little Phatty 'looping' problem

sounds a bit like a midi feedback issue. make sure the lp isn't feeding it's output back in to it's input somewhere. you could disable the midi output in the master settings to test if this might be the case.

Re: Little Phatty vs. Slim Phatty + MIDI Controller

You the lose the LP form factor. That's it. I LOVE my SP, and use it w/ a Korg MicroKey. Basically allows for me to have the SP sit on the table next to my computer and not take up a ton of room (small studio). Microkey is great w/ SP since it's got a modwheel+pitch bend in a miniturized controller,...

Re: Happy Friday, here's an OS UPDATE for the SLIM PHATTY :)

Works great! I'll add that I have SN#60 and was also affected by the "preset name-save" bug. This update corrected it all the same, though! Thanks Amos!

Doubtful since most of em are already packed and distributed to retailers. If any would be, it'd need to be ones that Moog have in house still, not sure if they do, doesn't sound like it.

Re: End of the line for Mf-104Z????

How about adding an analog EQ pre or post the external loop to colour the delays? The 105 is pretty good, but it only boosts not cuts. There's still plenty of features to add without selling out as a digital guitar fx clone. I would totally buy a digital delay with moog eqs for hpf and lpf. would b...

Re: End of the line for Mf-104Z????

I bought a EHX Memory Boy a while back, gotta say I'm loving it despite the rather surprising amount of controversy over newly manufactured BBDs. I would LOVE to see Moog get to work on a new analog delay using BBDs that are easer to acquire/being made currently. I think they'd be able to do a lot w...

Re: Soon to be owner

ring mod is probably the best companion, it easily has the most expansive cv i/o, and w/ access to both the LFO and Carrier outputs you have A LOT of control in the modulation department for use w/ the LP. Oh, and you also get an analog ring modulator! :) Phaser is a fun one too, LFO out and a fanta...

Re: Thinking of Buying SP. . .

I've had LP Tribute, Stage II, and now SP, not one has given me tuning trouble. I think you might be getting a skewed view by putting too much stock in entries found on this forum, which is generally used quite often as a troubleshooting/venting outlet until the users contact Moog's support. Rest as...

Anybody still feelin' it? Should Moog make these? Would you buy these?
