Can you do it yourself? If so, where is the trimmer and how do you get at it?amphonic wrote:Contacted Moog Support via email. It seems my Phatty was calibrated incorrectly. The fix should be pretty easy. A trim pot inside is used to adjust the volts per octave.

Glide observation
I want to sustain a high note and then hear it slowly, smoothly glide down to a low note. So I hold down the highest note on the keyboard, turn Glide Rate to maximum, then while still holding down the high note I press the lowest note on the keyboard. I expect the glide to be "seamless", b...

Very cool. I really like the capabilities of this gadget. The only drawback I keep imagining is programming it. If it were a desktop objet that would stay put, then tweaking it would be fine. But using the foot pedal would be primary for me so I'd keep it on the floor, and the thought of picking it ...

Along the same lines, here's another example that I assume the MP-201 can do, but just want to make sure... If the MP-201 MIDI In receives Note On/Off, Pitchbend, and CC#1, can it be setup to ouput: Pitch/Pitchbend CV - channel 1 Gate CV derived from Note On/Off - channel 2 CV derived from MIDI CC#...

Re: Volta + LP
Has anyone else been trying Volta with the LP? This sounded like a great way to better integrate the LP into my daily composition work that is otherwise all computer based. I bought a copy of Volta before I noticed that the Moog Little Phatty is not on the MOTU list of supported synths. I have been...

Looks like triggering the Mini from Volta won't work yet:

Minimoog (original) - Volta does not currently support S-Trig gate signals to control the VCA.

Re: A neat idea I thought I'd share
the oscillators are mega stable. The LP's stability comes from its digital processor. From the manual: "The LP’s calibration utilities allow you to perform individual calibrations on the pitch wheel, oscillators and note range. For example, the Note Calibration operation individually tunes eac...

LFO Sync Mode oddity
I had a scare when I turned on my LPSE (software 2.0 530). I pushed the Mod wheel for LFO vibrato and instead got pitch bend--about a whole step. It was like the LFO had died. And it was this way on every preset. It turned out to be the LFO Sync Mode, which was set to MIDI Clock. When I changed it t...
