Here's the issue. I've programmed a number of presets since I've had my Voyager AE back in day of 04. I'll record a midi sequence, then on playback the saved patch sounds 'off' tone. While the sequencer is running.....I'll go ahead and hit -1 or +1 to change and effectively return to the preset I was recording with.....the sound is then corrected (as saved). The other option I've done to avoid this is 'dump' the patch in the sequencer, then on playback have the notes occur after the patch is cued.
I've somewhat grown tired of doing the above. Any suggestions?

Preset Playback Sound Issue w/Midi
Re: Preset Playback Sound Issue w/Midi
Changing the stored preset also resets received MIDI CCs. So I assume there is an unwanted MIDI CC send out by your MIDI recording software. Check this by a MIDI monitor or your MIDI software CC view.
Also check for modwheel and aftertouch data that might modulate the sound according to the mod buses settings.
