Voyager sticky first key
Voyager sticky first key
Does anyone else's Voyager have a sticky first key? The first key on my Voyager feels different than the rest of the keys. When you press the first key you can feel and hear like something sticks then gets unstuck. Serial number 2401.

Re: Voyager sticky first key
Hi!
I've had the opportunity to unmount a Voyager keybed lately. The (10) screws that hold it on the synth bottom plate can be tighten with the keybed 1-2mm more on the left or the right. The first time I put the screws back, I had a squeaky first key. I untightened/retightened maintaining the keybed more on the right: it went well.
No need to completely remove the scews.
Hope this helps!

Re: Voyager sticky first key
Great info on the sticky key issue! My lowest 3 black notes were sticky with the F# being the worst as it wouldn't release the note, I adjusted the screws looser below the low end of the keyboard and it was a very easy fix, problem is solved, great advice
Thanks saved me a ton in repair cost and time!
