2016 re-issue Osc 1 problem

Post by trontastic » Sat Apr 13, 2024 8:24 am

I have a 2016 model d re-issure. Was working great. Now OSC 1 just stopped working on lower keys when set to lower range, and on the upper keys/high ranges it sounds "sickly", kind of wavering in tune and distorted. But OSC 2 & 3 sound normal. Anyone else have this problem?

Could it be a dirty range switch.

I have done a forum search , but not many popped up , and ones that did have had no resolves.

Any pointers will help.
Thanks.

Hi,

replace C1 (10nF mica or polystyrene flex)

Have fun!

OK i know its only been 2 days since i changed C1, but the mini Ocs 1 is still in tune from switch on.
I'm well pleased because i have no Tech guy to fix it around here. I have a small amount of electronic
knowledge but was able to do this easy fix.
Hope by putting this up here others will benefit.

It would help if I had known this in 2017 😁
I had exactly this problem and unfortunately had to send the entire device in for warranty service at the time, but good to know. Thanks anyway.

Oh schau an - dann bedanke ich mich nachträglich gerne noch direkt! 😁
Das Teil erneut auf die Paketreise zu schicken war schon aufregend - aber ging ja gut 🍀
