How 'bout it? Now that we know what the new product is, who here is going to get one? Seems a lot of people should be pleased!
Personally, if I didn't already have a Voyager, I would consider getting one. But since it doesn't really offer me anything new, its a 'no'!

I would do, if it weren't for the price. I'd rather spend a couple more quid and get a voyager rack.

The leaked info says it will be $1475.00, but since stores usually sell Moog products for a bit less than they go for on their website, it will probable go for around $1100-1200.

Ok, ok fair enough....this poll is for people who want a NEW MOOG. And since the LP is obviously a stripped down Voyager, its only logic that they should be compared

i don't know about the little phatty,
but i'll definitely get this new orbiter everyone keeps talking about
BTW this new thing would be great with a voyager, it has inputs for:
- pitch
- filter
- volume
and the vx 351 has three outputs for the touchpad.
put 3 and 3 together

I can't believe I'm going to be able to afford a new Moog synth!
Does anyone think the rumored "tribute edition" implies there will be several releases... various colors/materials, or even a rack or desktop release? Because I'd like an orange one.

OysterRock,
How could you say this without hearing it in person. Did all of the early Moogs sound alike?
I'll make my decision when I lay my hands on one and here Bob's soul

Since I wanted the Voyager for so long...and do not want to pay $2800... I will be getting this...unless I don't like it once I see it.

Well, there are a lot of things that I would rather have than ANY monosynth right now. Therefore, it doesn't really matter to me how it sounds! I don't need another monosynth. Anyway, if I were going to buy another monosynth it would be an RME to make my MMV duophonic.
If I had a bigger budget, I might consider it. It would be nice to take to a gig without having to worry about drunken idiots touching my $3000 synth.
