In collaboration with Wilco keyboardist Mikael Jorgenson, Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist Helado Negro blends piano, vibraphone and a "mountain of synths" to create a brand new track for Weathervane Music's Shaking Through series.

Shaking Through is a new music incubator that seeks out the most exciting young minds in music today and challenges them to create a track in just 2 days.  From first take to final mix, everything must be realized in just 48 hours.

For Helado Negro's session, Moog Music provided a Minimoog Voyager, 3 Slim Phattys and a battery of Moogerfoogers.  Used in tandem with an ARP 2600, EMI SYNTHI, Teenage Engineering OP-1 and Critter & Guitari Pocket Piano, these machines provided the dreamy soundscape that became the basis of the track, Mitad Del Mundo.
